Open the Document in 2D/3D View (2026)
General
This feature enables viewing of document-related files in both 3D and 2D formats:
GLB files are opened in a 3D viewer.
DWG files are opened in a 2D viewer.

Show and hide drawing layers

Dimensional measurements
Model rotation
Visibility toggling
Section views
Display of MBD (Model-Based Definition) annotations
Visualization of the model’s structure tree
etc.
License Requirement
This functionality requires an additional license option named Dimensioning Viewer.
Availability
The feature is available starting from Flow version 26.0.
Open the model in 3D view
(1) Search the model
(2) Select the model
(3) Click the button 3D in the top corner of the preview image or select Model > Open in 3D View
Flow opens the related GLB file
If GLB file is missing, create it by pressing the checkbox GLB file in model object page.
Open the drawing in 2D view
(1) Search the drawing
(2) Select the drawing
(3) Click the button 2D in the top corner of the preview image or select Drawing > Open in 2D View
Flow opens the related DWG file
If DWG file is missing, create it using the background converter.
Launch the viewer in a new web browser window
Follow the instructions above and right-click the button 2D/3D or right-click Open in 2D/3D View, then choose Open in New Tab.
