2D DXF/DWG drawing to 3D model draft

Problem
Copying a 2D DXF or DWG drawing as a sketch for your own 3D model.

Solution
The projection behaves like a block (e.g. in AutoCAD) and must be exploded before copying.

1. Right-click the projection and select Explode symbol

2. Use mouse area selection to select the projection area → Go to Clipboard > Copy

3. Create a new subassembly

4. Create a 3D sketch → Go to Clipboard > Paste

Select area → Clipboard > Copy
