Checking the contents of the license server’s license file

About the license file in general

This page describes the structure and options of the license server’s license file.

A file suitable for the license server can be opened in a text editor to check its contents, but no manual changes can be made to it.

  • The first line begins with ! (exclamation mark), followed by the number of the HASP protection module.

  • The license server must have a HASP module with this number connected.

  • The last line is the protection key.

  • Lines starting with s indicate the applications included in the license file.

  • Lines starting with o indicate the options for the applications.

  • The number following the s and o lines specifies how many applications or how many options can be used simultaneously.
