Copying a sketch group to corners

Create a sketch group and apply it to all similar corners of the part

Copying to corners reduces the effort required to create complex shapes.

Once you've created a complex shape, you can copy the sketch to other corners of the same size. This speeds up sketching by allowing you to complete one shape and automatically replicate it.

Copying a shape

The operation can be performed on a sketch group that is not a linked instance. Cloned sketch groups are linked instances of the original group, meaning they will reflect any changes made to the parent.

If no suitable corners are found for cloning, the software will not display error messages or similar notifications. In the case of a failed clone, no sketch groups will be created in the corners.
