Updating an Assembly Model Drawing

Problem

Updating the drawing of a large assembly takes a long time and slows down work. By default, the update is always performed automatically. You can disable automatic updates so that the program will ask whether the update should be performed or not.

Solution

Enable the keyword askupdatedrawings, which will make the program prompt you to confirm whether to update the drawing.

1. Select File > System Settings > Edit

2. Choose Administration – System Settings

3. In the search field, enter the keyword askupdatedrawings

4. Select Use filter for keywords to display the value assigned to the keyword

5. Change the value of the keyword to 1 (note that the old value in the system will be saved as the default)
