Sheet Metal Part Not Created

Problem

The sheet metal part is not created.

Solution

• Ensure that the part properties include stretch calculation data as well as material.

• Run an ACIS geometry check on the part. If the geometry check reports errors, bending issues may be caused by invalid geometry.

• Verify that the sheet thickness is set correctly in the sheet metal properties. If the extrusion was made in a direction other than the sheet thickness direction, do not use the extrusion length as the sheet thickness when the program prompts for it.

• You can fix the problem by changing the part type to a regular part and then back to sheet metal. This will make the program ask again for the sheet thickness parameters.
