Subtypes for horizontal structures
Floors
Why: There is a need for more precise classification of structures, such as floors and roofs, for reports and for the content requirements of the IFC model.
It is now possible to define a subtype for horizontal structures such as base floors, terrace floors, balcony roof etc.. Subtype can be used, for example, in material reports to sum up the quantity data for certain types of structures. The information may also be needed in collaboration with other designers when the IFC model is transferred between designers. The clear benefit is that the fixed typesetting keeps the data constant and can be invoked when a certain type of structure is to be examined. For example, in the IFC model submitted as an appendix to a building permit in Finland, subtypes are needed to indicate what type of structure it is.
In addition, the long-existing classifier can be used if structures and components are to be freely classified.

VXBD-4461
Grid improvements
Grid / Edit all parameters feature
Why: Asked, because without this, it always regenerated labels and lines, as a default it is off

VXCORE-1208
Grid / Edit whole grid also via 3D text object
Why: Quicker to user

VXCORE-1209
Grid to horizontal sections
Why: Pending feature

VXBD-94
Model upper eaves boards separately in mono-pitch roofs
Why: It has not been possible before to model upper eaves boards in mono-pitch roofs using a defined set—they followed the horizontal eaves behavior. Now, the upper eaves are recognized separately, and boards are added to the model according to the set. This long-requested improvement reduces manual corrections and speeds up modeling by ensuring correct placement directly from the set. (SIBB)

In components.xml there is now new parameter Location to separate trims if needed

TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT, RIGHT available
VXBD-3143
2D-symbol for displaying XY-coordinates
Why: Asked feature
Ability to add coordinates to different points, like the function “add heights”. But instead of adding heights you “add coordinates”

VXBD-2257
Supported also with this: VXBD-3770
Building area and schedule
Why: Asked feature
Functions has been separated and simplified
