Panel Drawing Replacement Text Macros

Panel drawings have special replacement text macros that only update when the panel drawing is created or updated. You can add these text macros by selecting Text on the Drafting tab. In the Text dialog box, select Panel Drawing Text Macros from the Previous Texts / Standard Texts list.

Pick the text you want to add from the list and click OK.

Any field from the wall framing tool

Anything in the wall framing tool is also available. You can add a new BEARING field (or use an existing field that is not in use), then add #WALL_BEARING# to the panel drawing. You must add the characters "WALL_" before the field name in the text macro, for example #WALL_CORNER#, #WALL_TOPC#, etc.

You can override any framing tool value on a wall-by-wall basis by adding it to the Extra parameters field in the framing layer properties list in the wall dialog box, for example to give specific wall names to the panel drawing. To show extra parameters, right-click in the bottom white layer parameters area of the wall dialog box and select Show all parameters. Click on the frame layer and then expand Framing properties at the layer parameters area.
