Why 3D Model Rotation and Response Feels Slow on My Windows 11 Laptop
Interacting with the 3D model needs more calculation performance from the devices graphics card (GPU) than typical web browsing. Many laptops has two GPUs, integrated and dedicated graphic card. By default Windows uses the integrated one with web browsers.
To set your dedicated graphic card as the default for an application in Windows 11, open Settings > System > Display > Graphics, select your desired web browser, click Options, and then choose High performance.
Open Settings: Click the Start button and select Settings.
Navigate to Graphics Settings: Go to System > Display > Graphics.
Add Your App: If your app isn't listed, click Browse under the Desktop app section to find its executable file (.exe).
Set the GPU Preference: Select the app from the list, click Options, and then select High performance.
Save: Click Save to apply your changes
For a global setting, use the NVIDIA Control Panel to set the "Preferred graphics processor" to "High-performance NVIDIA processor" under the "Manage 3D settings" tab.
