ECO

Purpose of use

The Flow object ECO is related to the change management of design objects, mostly items. When a new revision is made to an approved item that is already in production, the ECO object can be used to document the reasons and objectives of the change. It can also distribute responsibility for the change by assigning responsibility for the ECO object to the designer, who will locate the associated item through the connection between the ECO and the item.
