Generate Connection Plate Drawings

This article will show you how create drawings for the connection plates themselves.



This article uses a pre-added Hot-rolled column and beam structure with all connections added previously.  Beam Panel drawings for each Beam/Column also needs to have been created previously.


  1. Goto the Output tab in the ribbon.

  2. Click into the Schedule image2016-5-17 9:5:28.png command from the automatically activated Profile tab in the ribbon.

  3. Choose the HOT ROLL PLATES group type type from the Select Group window.

  4. The Piece Schedule Parameters window will appear.  Make sure the Drawings section is checked on.

  5. Now pick a location for the schedule, if this was checked on in the previous window.

  6. The schedule and drawings will then be generated.

    The drawings are found in the document browser → structural drawings → piece drawings
