General

You can use item structures to search for items and documents in two ways:

  • Find out in which structure this item has been used.

  • Find out what items and documents are in the structure of this item.

Where This Item Has Been Used

You can find out in which item structures (i.e., product structures) the selected item is used.

Select the action Tools > Where Used.

  • See more details in Where Used function.

Browse the Item Structure Tree

You can explore the item structure and related documents (models and drawings) by browsing the item structure.

(1) Open the item card.

(2) Select the Structure tab.

(3) Expand the branch in the structure by selecting it.

  • Flow will display the drawing, model, and item related to the structure if such connections exist.

(4) Close the branch in the structure if needed by selecting it.

(5) If needed, select a related object from the tree, and its object card will open.
