Search by Classification

General

A classification is a way to group objects into the same categories or classes.

  • The classification in Vertex Flow is hierarchical and specific to object types.

  • You can search for objects using classifications through their object type.

Search for Objects by Classification

(1) Select the Archive tab.

(2) Choose the object type.

  • Flow will display the top level of the classifications for the selected object type.

(3) Select Classification

  • Flow will display the number of search results (in the example image, 73 results).

  • Flow will present the search results either as cards or rows.

(4) Select the Search action.

Select or Enter a Classification on the Search Card

If you are searching for objects using the search card, you can either select a classification or enter the classification identifier in the Classification field.

For the Administrator

The administrator can edit object classifications.
