Labels

Labels are a feature of Sync service that allows you to add tags to objects and remove them. You can use labels to filter objects and find them later. For example, you can label an object as “urgent”, “important”, or “completed” and then use the label filter to see only the objects with that label.

Labels can help you organize and find your objects more easily. You can use the label filter to see only the objects that have a specific label or a combination of labels. For example, if you want to see only the objects that are urgent and important, you can select those two labels in the filter. Sync will show you only the objects that have both labels.

Filter content with labels

Labels let you filter content and find information faster and easier. When you choose a label, the system shows only the objects that have that label. Some labels might disappear too. This is normal because the system only shows the labels that are on the objects in the current view.

Add new labels to the system (Administrator)

The system administrator of the organization has permission to add, remove, activate, and inactivate labels. Read more about Labeling.

Active/Inactive labels

Labels have two states: active or inactive. You can add active labels to objects, but not inactive labels. Objects that already have a label will keep it even if the label becomes inactive. You can use inactive labels to filter objects. This is useful when you have an old system, and you want to mark the objects related to it. You can label those objects and then make the label inactive. You can then find those objects by using the inactive label, but you cannot add the label to new objects.

Labels

Type icons are added to type chips to separate them from the user created one. Icons separate basic system type labels from the user made custom one. The default type for object added can be adjusted in administrator portal.
