Example of Using the Binder Tool (2025)
General
In this example, the Binder Tool is used to collect user manuals hierarchically.
The user manual folder consists of four substructures:
Preparatory Work
Installation Instructions
User Instructions
Maintenance Instructions
In this way, a separate folder can be created for each stakeholder, for example:
A folder is created for the customer containing sections 1, 2, 3, and 4.
A folder is created for the maintenance organization containing section 4.
A folder is created for the installer containing sections 1 and 2.

Document Classification
Documents have a classification, such as 40 User Manual, which is divided into more specific classifications:

403 Maintenance
Bookmarks
The example includes five bookmarks, with the User Manual folder at the top level set as the base, and it has a structure.
A separate bookmark has been created for each structure within the user manual folder.

Document Mapping
In image (1), the structure related to the product, along with its documents, is shown.
In image (2), the documents related to the item VX3000033 are listed.
Framed is the classification of the maintenance-related document, 40|403 Maintenance.
In image (3), the Maintenance bookmark is selected.
In image (4), the two collection criteria contained within the Maintenance bookmark are shown:
The document classification (CLASSIFICATION) is 40|403, meaning "40 User Manuals" and "403 Maintenance."
The document status (STATENAME) is Approved.
When you collect the user manual folder from the product structure in image (1),
The program retrieves the documents related to the items (2),
Selects those with the properties defined in the bookmarks (3) (4),
And compiles them into a PDF booklet.
