Release notes 1.1.0

Version 1.1.0 release date 22 May 2025
Measure Direction Locking
Users can now lock the measure direction to the coordinate axis (x, y, or z) to ensure accurate and consistent measurements. This feature enhances measurement precision by allowing users to constrain measurements along specific axes or surface directions. The new measure direction lock, combined with snapping tools, will facilitate easy and accurate measuring.

Easy Clip Removal and Model Reset
Users can now remove all clips and restore the model to its original state with ease. This feature simplifies the process of resetting the model by providing a tool that removes all clipping planes in one action, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
Users currently have to manually adjust the clipping planes to their original positions. This process is cumbersome. A tool similar to the one used for removing measurements is needed for clipping.

User can set decimal precision of measurements
Users can now set the decimal precision of measurements, enhancing the usability of various measurement units beyond millimeters. This feature allows for greater accuracy and flexibility in measurement tasks.
Previously, the lack of decimal precision limited the usefulness of measurement units other than millimeters. This new feature addresses this issue by allowing users to specify the desired level of decimal precision, improving the overall measurement experience.

Improved usability with clip cube surface edge highlighting
Users now receive clearer visual feedback with the addition of a wireframe to the clipping box’s current surface while hovering. This improvement combines the benefits of both transparent surfaces and wireframes to enhance user experience.
The plain transparent surface caused confusion among users. The previous wireframe solution received negative feedback. This enhancement aims to improve user experience by integrating best of the both elements.

Improved Restore Previous Item Functionality
The restore previous item feature has been improved to better meet user expectations. Now, when users restore a previously hidden structure, the entire structure becomes visible at once, rather than piece by piece.
The previous implementation of the restore feature did not align with user expectations. Users anticipated that a hidden structure would reappear as a single entity, but the system restored it piece by piece.
