Create the Correct Fillet for Manufacturing

An offset has been added to both ends of the fillet line in the fillet dialog. This allows you to model shapes that more accurately follow manufacturing requirements.

Defining the Offset

When specifying an offset for the fillet, you can leave a desired amount of sharp edge at the corner. This is necessary if the tool cannot reach the bottom of the edge. A correctly modeled part can be exported directly to CAM software without the need to adjust the fillet bottom.
