Control the default behavior for saving a part

Depending on the workspace, saving a part as a new file may have previously required extra clicks. Now, the default behavior can be adjusted, reducing errors in the design process.

Previously, the default action for "Save Part as New" was set to "Leave Assembly Unchanged." This could lead to errors if the user didn’t notice the default setting and continued editing the part.

Since designers perform different types of work, this default behavior has now been moved to user-specific settings. To adjust it:

Go to File -> User Settings -> Drawings, Models, and select your preferred default action from the dropdown menu.
