Presenting Machining Features

Identify which surfaces in the model were created using machining tools.

Mark Machined Surfaces on the Part

Machining features are versatile tools when working with assembly models. With the new function, you can display the machining tools in the assembly model, hide them, and highlight the machined surfaces. This way, you can easily identify which surfaces have been shaped by other parts.

The previous function assigned to the M key toggled the visibility of machining tools. Now, the functionality cycles through three different visibility states:

  1. Machining Tools Visible

  2. Machining Tools Hidden

  3. Machining Tools Hidden, Machined Surfaces Visible (displayed in pink, with all machining cuts shown through the geometry)
