Edit metadata of objects

General

With this function, you can edit the properties of multiple objects at once.

Through the collection trolley, you can edit those object properties that are common to the selected group of objects, making it possible to edit them all at once.

• If you cannot see the desired properties, consider whether you have selected objects that are too diverse for simultaneous editing.

• The property field will be empty if the selected objects have different content in the chosen property field.

• If you want to provide the same content for all selected objects in a field, enter the new content.

If there are checkboxes in the properties, hovering over them will display a tooltip.

Edit metadata

With this function, you can edit common properties for objects, so the dialogue box Edit Collection Trolley Content varies depending on the objects being edited.

(1) Optionally, select Select Entire Collection Trolley if needed.

(2) Choose the objects to be edited.

(3) Select the action Collection Trolley > Properties.

• Flow opens the dialogue box Edit Collection Trolley Content.

• The editable fields are outlined.

(4) Edit the content of the necessary fields.

• Note that all selected objects will receive the same content.

(5) Confirm the property editing by selecting OK.

• Flow reports the changes.

(6) Optionally, select According to the Rule.

(7) Click here to continue to return to the collection trolley.
