Save 3D model as 3D PDF

Enable an entirely new way of publishing and sharing 3D models with the 3D pdf converter. The PDF model can be viewed using the same Adobe Reader that just about everyone already has installed. Adjust the rotation, zoom, render mode, lighting, background color, and visibility of individual parts, using the standard Adobe Reader controls.
 

A 3D PDF Converter add-on option is needed to save Vertex BD 3D models as 3D PDF files.

1. Save a Vertex BD 3D model to a 3D PDF file. Make sure you have a 3D layout active (to toggle 2D/3D layout press F2 key or click Switch button next to Project Document Browser)
   

   

   
   
   
2.  Select a  click File -> Save As -> Save As
   

   

   
   
   
3. Select destination folder and make sure Adobe Acrobat Documents (*.pdf) and pdf 3d are selected. Click Save.
   

   

   
   
   
4. Open PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and click the 3D model to activate it.
