Now we have the drawing on the sheet. Just click on the drawing to select, go to 'Modeling' tab → 'Reference Drawings' → 'Select Layers'

In 'Modeling' tab → 'Reference Drawings' click on'Select Layers' and select the drawing.

In the layers window you can turn layers on and off as per the requirements.

Advantage of the turning layers ON / OFF this way is that any section, elevation and other drawings you bring on to the same sheet, can have its layers visible individually.

If you go back to your model and add dimensions (or any changes), you must save the model, only then, you will be able to update the layout.

Now you can see that wall plan have been updated and the dimensions have appeared on it.
