You can select the revision format in the system settings.

Revision format

Instead of overwriting, Vertex Sync uses revisioning. Revisions allow backtracking of changes and make collaboration safer. The system guarantees older revisions remain unchanged, even if the latest revision is modified.

Vertex CAD programs - such as Vertex BD - support revisions. Any file can be revised in Vertex Sync.

When you set up the Vertex Sync environment for your organization, you select the revision format you want to use. You can change the format in system settings. Select the revision format you want to use from the list.

File associations

Object type can be automatically set by the file extension. Extensions are case insensitive.
