Flow for Office installation
This guide helps you install the Flow for Office add-in onto the ribbon of Windows Office products (see the adjacent image). The Flow for Office add-in streamlines and simplifies saving and revising Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents in the Vertex Flow system. With the add-in, you can save Outlook emails with attachments or individual attachments directly into the Vertex Flow software. You can also easily retrieve attachments from Flow for email correspondence.
Version and browser compatibility

This guide is applicable to Vertex Flow version 2023 (23.0.xx) and later.
Browsers
The installations according to this guide have been tested on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers.
Permissions and connections: Contact the administrator if you do not have permissions to perform the installation.
Before you start the installation
Make sure that Flowlet is installed on Windows.

Remove old Vertex Flow Office add-ins if necessary.
If you have old Flow Office add-ins, uninstall them:
Control Panel > Programs and Features
Vertex Excel Plugin
Vertex PowerPoint Plugin
Vertex Outlook Plugin
Vertex Word Plugin
Close MS Office applications
Close all MS Office applications:
Excel
PowerPoint
Outlook
Word
Installation Instructions
Install the Word add-in.
Click the link below.
https://support.vertex.fi/apps/office/savetovertex/Word/setup.exe
Press the Save File button.
Start the installation by selecting setup.exe or setup(n).exe from the browser's Downloads folder.
Next to this is an image of Chrome's top corner function, providing access to the Downloads folder.
Firefox and Edge have a similar function.
Complete the installation by clicking the Install button.
The program will indicate a successful installation.
Finish the installation by clicking the Close button.
Install the add-ins for other Office programs as needed.
The installation routines are similar to those described above.
Future updates
You generally no longer need to worry about updating the add-ins, as they will automatically update starting from version 2025.1.1.10. You can check the add-in version number by hovering your mouse over the Save button, see the adjacent image.
